North of Clint Wells, fire crews have begun a prescribed burn as part of an effort to fight a lightning sparked fire along State Route 87. Drivers should be aware that traffic will be cut down to one lane, and plan for delays. The fire was May 30 and has burned almost ten square miles as of this brief.

In New York, a Helicopter crashed onto a skyscraper’s roof yesterday, resulting in the death of its pilot. The crash occurred near Times Square on the AXA Equitable Building and forced workers to evacuate when the crash started a fire. However, as of this report, authorities do not suspect terrorism.

U.S. Customs and Border patrol revealed yesterday that license plate photos taken at border crossings have been leaked in a major cyberattack. The subcontractor who ran the computer network has not been named, but a Tennessee company who provides license plate readers reported earlier that there was a compromise to their systems operating at U.S. Border Crossings.
