Tensions are high on the Northern Arizona campus as the Lumberjacks go head to head against Idaho as they battle for a top two seed heading into the Big Sky Championships. The NAU fans showed up to support their seniors in their last game playing underneath the San Francisco Peaks for their senior night.

This match starts off very hard fought and physical because of the amount of pressure on the line to make the official rankings for the playoffs. The Lumberjacks have a record of 9-4-3 on the season while Idaho sits at 9-6-2.

The first have contained excitement for the NAU seniors as both Mei-Te-Coco and Haleigh Van Allen put pressure on Idaho with shots on net. The effort was showing on both sides of the field proving both teams had the drive to push on to the play offs.

The second half proved to be a defensive match up. Much less shots on net resulted in a both teams buckling down on defense and focusing less on advancing the ball toward the opposing teams net. The game turned into the battle of the goalies as NAU had six saved shots on net while the Vandals were able to save five.

Overtime told a similar story as the rest of the game with a lack of successful offensive efforts. 0-0 heading into overtime added to the tensions of the atmosphere as both teams desired to take the second spot in the conference yielding a win. However, time runs of the clock forcing a draw on the match up.

NAU ends up ranked fourth in the Big Sky Conference with a 9-4-4 record with Idaho placing one spot ahead in third place showing a 9-6-3 record.
