As the Northern Arizona Volleyball team continues on there winning season, achievements by their senior star Jordan Anderson start to lean toward the record books. Over her time playing for the Lumberjacks Anderson has racked up 1,315 digs moving her into the third all-time spot for the program.

Following their most recent game Anderson has 493 digs on the season ranking her 39th in the country. This impressive defensive performance holds her only seven digs away from 500 on the season were Anderson would be recognized as the third player in the program to achieve this if she is successful.

Given Anderson’s domination on the defensive side of the court, the Big Sky conference has recognized her efforts with the Defensive Player of the week for two times in a row. Anderson’s performance against Montana and Montana State helped her achieve these recognitions. She overall stats came to 46 digs averaging 6.57 per set in the past two matchups.

Anderson's efforts from the back row have not gone unnoticed during the Lumberjacks current season. If she continues performing yielding her current numbers she could go into the record books for the NAU volleyball team as one of the best defensive players to play under the San Francisco peaks.
